High Tibial Osteotomy Correction System

Focal Dome Osteotomy Fixator (PK High Tibial Osteotomy Correction System) is intended to be used in tibial osteotomy for treating medial knee osteoarthritis which is aim to preservation of the knee joint.

Design Features

SAFE

  • Delicate positioning guide, drill guide, cutting guide and goniometer for reducing osteotomy risk
  • Less invasive than internal fixation system
  • Easy to conversion from HTO to TKA
  • Secondary surgery for removal of implant is unnecessary 

 

STABLE

  • Immediately full weight bearing and exercise/ walking
  • Pins can be adjust based on patient's weight

  • For patients with smaller tibia
  • Minimal interference to tibial slope and patellar height
  • For larger angular correction osteotomy (over 20°)
  • Does not require removal of bone and thus can be completed with minimal invasive or percutaneous surgery [1][2]

  • No leg shortening [2]
  • Large contact surface at osteotomy site can shorter bone healing time  (mostly 6 - 8 weeks) [1][2]
