G-Cage
Dynamic Lumbar Cage
Special Shape of G-cage
Wedge your spine with the G cage, to obtain the sagittal balance.
- L3-L4 in 4° or 8°
- L4-L5 in 8° or 12°
- L5-S1 in 12° or 15°
G-cage is a normo-lordotic cage
- Patients with painful lordosis is caused by muscular spasm.
- Sagittal unbalance overstress adjacent segment.
- 15° in L5/S1 , 12° in L4/L5 and get a global lordosis in Lumbo-sacral junction up to 30°
Twist Instertion
New Insertion by rotation
- Nose as a disc opener
- Shoulder as a root retractor
Step.1 :
Slightly insert the correct size G-Cage with the curved side touching the endplates.
Step.2 :
Rotate it 90 degrees right or left for distraction.
Step.3 :
Tap with impactor at the end of G-Cage until the desired height is obtained. With the segment fully distracted, the G-Cage must be tightly and accurately fitted inside the disc space.
Step.4 :
Use X-Ray Checking the Position.
